El señor de los anillos es comparable con El Quijote. Una fantasía desbordante que hace que el libro quiera ser deborado por la mente.

En este segundo volumen la trama avanza mucho más y se convierte en una obra que atrapa e hipnotiza. Imposible dejarlo.

Muy denso para mi gusto. No he conseguido pillarle el punto a esta trilogía que, sin embargo, me ha gustado mucho en lo que respecta a su adaptación cinematográfica.

Esta segunda parte para mi es menos pesada que la primera, más amena.

Al igual que los otros dos libros, está dividido en dos partes. Y en este caso, son dos partes completamente diferentes, que no se entrecruzan en ningún momento. Por un lado, el viaje de Frodo, Sam y Gollum hasta Mordor. Y por otro, las aventuras del resto de la Compañía del Anillo, separados en dos grupos. Además, ambas partes no coinciden completamente en el tiempo (el final de la segunda parte va más allá que el final de la primera, desde un punto de vista cronológico). Todo hace que la lectura pueda ser difícil o confusa. Hasta el título es ambiguo: ¿Cuáles son exactamente las dos torres? Hay varias para elegir.

Este está mejor que el primero. Son lecturas un poco lentas porque hay mucha descripción, párrafos largos de descripciones pero la historia se sale!

I once organized a charity event where key volunteers scattered due to a sudden storm. I felt like Frodo, desperately holding the event together. It was a nightmare managing the chaos, feeling as if some mischievous love tester were determining if the event would succeed and the outcome was unpredictable!

Fascinating synopsis! The Fellowship's fracturing definitely ups the ante. This desperate pursuit along the Anduin feels like a perilous race against time. That "mysterious shadow" reminds me that the Ring's corrupting influence will only grow. It appears Frodo and Sam's journey is on a slope 2 towards Mordor, constantly increasing tension. The coming battle sounds epic!
