Cristóbal Colón / Christopher Columbus muestra el resultado de una experiencia internacional AICLE (Aprendizaje integrado de contenidos y lenguas extranjeras), llevada a cabo por alumnos de primaria, maestros, padres, formadores de maestros y maestros en formación. Liderado por las universidades de Nottingham Trent y de Salamanca, el proyecto Colón se planteó desde una fase programática (programación de una unidad didáctica en las escuelas participantes del proyecto, desarrollo de materiales para la enseñanza, etc.) seguida de su puesta en práctica.
