#1 This is one of the books any Star Trek fan MUST read no matter what.
After the incredible events of the "Destiny" Trilogy (You MUST read that even more than this. NOW), and the totally surprising "Plagues of Night" + "Raise The Dawn" books (you won't believe what happens there...DS9 fans read!), this book shows us and incredible picture the mixes TNG past and present in a wonderful way. The last 10% of the books is so powerful it's almost impossible to keep your tears back.
These last years most trek novels have really upped the ante in a way it's difficult to believe. "Nothing will ever be the same" really makes sense here. And I feel there's still a lot to come.
